Lower Hutt's Town Hall Events Centre was opened in 1957 and underwent a significant upgrade in 2019. The events centre is a multi-purpose space that required a flexible lighting solution for it's upgrade in 2019. Existing cold-cathode tubes provided general lighting to the space from diffused channels in the ceiling. The channels were retained and the cold-cathode tubes were replaced with colour-changing RGBW LED to suit a vast array of events.

Our adjustable mounting brackets were fixed to the sides of the existing lighting channels. The adjustable brackets allowed the angle of the profile to be adjusted for best distribution of light across the diffuser. Colour control was provided by remote DALI modules.
