Already in use across New Zealand, Nellie Neon has featured in two standout projects: Circa Theatre and the Manners Street Lobby, both in Wellington. These projects, delivered by our Wellington-based distributor Moth Light, demonstrate the system’s potential in both exterior and interior settings — from public façades to refined architectural details.

Nellie Neon is available in two profile types, both rated IP67 for indoor and outdoor use:

Project Highlight: Circa Theatre, Wellington
Part of a major upgrade by Inside Design, Circa Theatre’s new façade features a curved mesh velarium made from Kaynemaile. The lighting brief required a custom solution to follow this undulating structure. Nellie Neon 23 was selected for its dual-axis flexibility and RGBW output — enabling the feature to respond to the architecture in both form and colour.

Project Highlight: Manners Street Lobby
In contrast, the Manners Street Lobby project required clean, concealed interior lighting. Nellie Neon 16 was used in two key locations: hidden within a ceiling recess to provide soft grazing along a concrete wall, and as backlighting behind the information board. Its long run length and consistent output ensured an uninterrupted visual effect across both applications.
